The CCM World Invite is one of the biggest dates on the Southside Hockey calendar, running from December 1 through December 25 in Chicago. For us, the event is more than just another tournament — it is a chance to compete against strong programs, test our players in high-pressure situations, and represent Southside Hockey on a larger stage. Throughout the Invite, our focus will remain the same: play fast, stay disciplined, trust our systems, and compete with the toughness and confidence that define our program.
The tournament also gives our players an opportunity to grow together as a team. Every game, practice, and off-ice moment during the month will challenge players to communicate, respond to adversity, and raise their level of play. Southside Hockey enters the CCM World Invite with one goal in mind: compete hard, develop as a group, and show what Chicago hockey looks like when community, skill, and pride come together.
